Take, the author of Uzaki-chan wants to hang out!, also known as Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!, released a doujin featuring the characters from the original series.

On September 20, 2021, a doujin market called COMITIA took place, and Take was present as an artist, not as a guest. During the event, he distributed a doujin titled Sotouzaki.

  Cover for Uzaki-chan Doujin

For what it’s worth, the main series has published seven volumes as of today, and Uzaki-chan, (full name Uzaki Hana) has made the cover of all of them. Volume 7 is, however, an exception: she plays a game with her Senpai, Sakurai Shinichi. With all that said, the doujin features Uzaki-chan’s mother, Uzaki Tsuki on the cover. Her eyes, which are usually depicted as closed, are open on the cover.

One more thing to point out: There is a seemingly warning sign on the lower right of the cover. The bold part refers to people who are younger than 18. Although it would look like a warning sign, this sentence comes after in Japanese: In this day and age, you may face many things, but I’m wishing you all the best in good health. With encouragement like this for the young, it’s obvious that doujin is not forbidden for minors.

  What is this Doujin about?

A page of the doujin shows that Uzaki-chan’s father, Uzaki Fujio says everything is allowed in the world unlike the manga’s main story, which the author has been updating on an online manga website, Dora Dora Sharp #. The panel has a caption that there is a limit for that as well.

The doujin has 8 pages, and is something like a bonus side-story that has nothing to do with the main plot, the author says.

And this is what the doujin’s physical copies look like. Each one costs 100 yen (around 0.91 USD):

Fortunately, it will be available in bookshops later.
